“It’s amazing. There has been over 10,500 votes cast already and it’s one vote per email address. The great thing is that all the categories are so close with very little between the nominees so far,” said Margaret.

The awards grew out of the Connect Kerry Women in Business Awards held every June and will be held to recognise the industry in the county which provides so many jobs.

There are 15 categories and the nominees are drawn from all over the county. If you haven’t cast your vote, you can do so by clicking here to see all the nominees and make your choice.

An afternoon of fun glitz and glam is guaranteed at The Rose Hotel, with bubbly on arrival, a  four course meal with wine, awards ceremony and lots of extras through the day and the (in)famous after party.
