Gardaí Investigate Theft And Criminal Damage Incidents In Tralee, Camp And Castleisland

GARDAI are appealing for witnesses and information in relation to a number of incidents of theft and criminal damage in Tralee, Camp and Castleisland.

On Saturday night, a window at a business premises on Bridge Street was broken between 7pm and 7.30pm. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.

At 4.30pm on Friday, a car was damaged in the Rahoonane area of town, while another car was damaged on Maine Street, near Radio Kerry, on Monday, February 4 at 4.30pm.

Gardaí are hoping students in IT Tralee will be able to help them with a case of theft there. A student left his wallet in a classroom and when he went back to retrieve it, it had been taken.

There was a considerable amount of cash in the wallet and while it was handed into lost and found at the college a week later, the cash was missing.

Gardaí in Castleisland are looking for information after bags of coal were taken from a coal truck which was parked up in Garvey’s Supervalu between 11.30am and 11.45am on Friday last.

Out in Camp, a mobile home was broken into and a quantity of cash taken. The mobile home was vacant between January 23 and February 6. Contact Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300 if you have information relating to any of the above incidents.
