“The last Sunflower day on the streets was in 2019 and we are so excited this year that we can go back to normality and meet the wonderful people of Kerry who have supported the services over the last 30 years,” said a Kerry Hospice spokesperson.

Sunflower days are celebrating 32 years and its one of Ireland’s biggest charity fundraisers. Kerry Hospice need to raise €600,000 a year to support the Specialist Palliative Care Services and the Home Care Services and in the near future to fund two nurse prescribers which will benefit the whole county.

Kerry Hospice thanked everybody for their support over the last number of years and especially over the last two years when COVID restrictions did not allow street collections.
