16/12/20 ***NO REPRO FEE*** DIAS competition seeks Ireland’s best astronomy photographs Pictured at DIAS Dunsink Observatory to mark the launch of the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies (DIAS) ‘Reach for the Stars’ astro-photography competition, were DIAS astronomers Dr. Eoin Carley and Luis Alberto Cañizares. The ‘Reach for the Stars’ competition is now open for entries and is seeking the best astro-photographs taken in Ireland over the period 1st January 2020 to 31st March 2021. Anyone with an interest in astronomy and photography – whether as a hobby, a burning passion or a fulltime career is invited enter the competition.
