THERE were 21 burglaries around Kerry in the past week according to Gardaí who described it as a very high figure.
The burglaries occurred all over Kerry and Gardaí are looking for the public’s help regarding two incidents in Tralee.
On Wednesday, July 1, between 4.30am and 5am the Tralee Furniture and Carpet Centre at the Mile Height in Tralee was broken into and a toshiba laptop was taken. There was no cash taken as no money is kept in the premises overnight.
That same night around 4.25am, the empty Randles Brothers Garage at Manor West Retail Park was also broken into. The window was smashed and a Barnardo’s charity box containing just a few euro was taken.
Gardai are asking that if anyone saw anything suspicious in those areas to contact them at Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.
