OVER 400 people will participate in the second year of ‘B Wildered – The John Lenihan Wilderness Challenge’ sponsored by Lee Strand Protein+ Milk tomorrow, but there’s still places left if you want to join them.

Participants will test their fitness limits in Kerry’s ultimate fitness challenge set in the wilderness of Glanageenty in Ballymacelligott with a 7.5km course designed by running legend John Lenihan in conjunction with Joe O’Connor, Nisus Fitness.

Last year was muddy, spectacular success with hundreds completing the tough route. With online registration closed, there is still 80 places left on a first come, first served basis tomorrow morning.

John O’Sullivan General Manager, Lee Strand stated; “The event is going from strength to strength and is going to be a great success once again this year. We would like to thank John Lenihan and Joe O’Connor for creating a magnificent challenge. All proceeds from the event will go towards the development of a new juvenile training pitch for Ballymacelligott GAA Club boys and girls.”

The first wave of participants set off at 11am so they can expect to be home and literally, hosed, about an hour later. All participants will receive a B Wildered finisher’s mug, medal, goody bag, refreshments and enjoy a post-party BBQ. Check out their Facebook page for more.
