THE draws for the Castleisland Mart Club Championship took place last night at the County Committee meeting held in Austin Stack Park.
Recent championship clashes would suggest Kerins O’Rahilly’s would have preferred to avoid Legion.
The Killarney side have knocked O’Rahilly’s out of the 2015 Senior Championship and the two previous years of the club championship.
Austin Stacks are also up against a team they’ll be very familiar with.
Milltown/Castlemaine were the side that unexpectedly dumped The Rock into a three way Senior Championship Relegation Play-off last December.
Defending champions, Dingle, will face Rathmore.
In the Intermediate championship, John Mitchels, have been drawn against Spa, who they defeated on Sunday after two titanic battles to claim Division 1 Promotion.
Ardfert have a difficult test against Munster champs, St Mary’s. But with home advantage, Ardfert, will be looking to upset the south Kerrymen.
In the Junior grade, Ballymac host Cordal, St Pats go to Duagh and Na Gaeil play Cromane on home soil.
