KERRY saw 56 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed out of a total of 4,629 cases nationally (1.2%) in the 14 days up to midnight on Sunday, June 27.
The latest data from gov.ie shows an incidence rate of 37.9 per 100,000 in Kerry compared to the national average of 97.2 per 100,000 from the period of June 14 to June 27.
Kerry has the third lowest incidence of the virus in the country in that period, while the 5-day moving average of confirmed cases in the county is 3. Today, there were 351 new COVID cases confirmed nationally.
