INTER-COUNTY : Brendan O’Leary and James O’Connor are part of the Kerry team that will play Meath in the Joe McDonagh Cup this Saturday afternoon @ 3.00pm in Páirc Tailteann, Meath. Jack Sheehan and Jack Parker were part of the Kerry U17 squad that defeated North Cork in the Celtic Challenge Cup played last Wednesday evening in Dromakee, Crotta.

CÚL CAMPS : Hurling Cúl Camp will take place in Abbeydorney from 23rd to 27th July. Cost is €60 per child with with reductions for additional members of families. Open to primary school children, boys and girls between 6 and 13 years of age. Monday’s to Friday’s, 10.00a.m. – 2.30p.m. daily. Further details at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie.

U8s who played Lixnaw, Crotta and Kilmoyley in U8 Blitz last Friday evening

U8 : Our U8s played Kilmoyley, Crotta and Lixnaw last Friday evening in North Kerry Blitz in Abbeydorney. There was a great display of hurling on a fabulous evening. Next Blitz takes place this Thursday evening(31st) @ 6.30pm in Caherslee.

U10 team with the Crotta team who they played in a challenge game last week

U10 : Our U10 team played some great hurling against Crotta and Rathmore in challenge games in Abbeydorney last Wednesday evening

U11 : Our U11s didn’t get off to a great start loosing to Ballyheigue last Friday evening in the N.K. U11 competition. However there is 3 games to go, so they will bounce back. Team : Luke Clifford, Tadgh Hegarty, Rian Walshe, Fionn Lawlor, Iarla Ó hAiniféin, Cian Mangan, Sonny Ryall, Luke Fitzmaurice, Eoin Mangan, Danial Nolan, John Murphy, Bobby Fitzpatrick, Adam Hogan

U12 team that won the Co. League Title last week

U12 : Congratulations to our U12 team who defeated Rathmore last Wednesday evening and won their Co. League Division. Well Done to all the players and management. Team : Darrragh Cunningham, Sonny Ryall, Jody Charles, Tomás Walsh, Iarla Ó hAiniféin, John Murphy, Bobby Fitzpatrick, Cian Mangan, Jason Brosnan, Luke Fitzmaurice, Cian Lynch, Jack Costello and Ruairí Ó hAiniféin. Trainers : Gerry Treanor and Tom Fitzmaurice.

U15 team that won the Co. Blitz and will represent Kerry at the Munster Blitz next month

U15 : Congratulations to our U15 team who won the Co. Blitz in John Mitchels GAA Complex last Tuesday evening. They will now go forward to represent Kerry in the Munster Blitz in Mallow on June 16th. Man of the Match was Breanndáin Walsh. Captain was Oisin Maunsell. Panel on the night was : Peter Hinchliffe, Sam Griffin, Oisin Maunsell, Breanndáin Walsh, Jedd Maunsell, Gearóid Quilter, Jack Hannon, Cian Sheehan, Gavin Slattery, Darragh O’Connell, Jack O’Sullivan, Jamie Stack, Louie Ryall and Calum O’Sullivan. Well Done to all involved.

INTERMEDIATE : Our Intermediate team play Kilgarvan on Wednesday, 30th in Abbeydorney @ 7.30pm.

SENIORS : Our Senior team will find out their opposition in the opening round of this year’s Hurling C’Ship this Wednesday night. The Kerry GAA SHC Launch and Draw for Round 1 will take place this Wednesday, May 30th @ 7.00pm at Tralee Bay Wetlands.

MUNSTER FOOTBALL SEMI-FINAL : Munster GAA Senior Football Championship Semi-final Kerry v Clare Sunday June 3rd at 3:30pm in Fitzgerald Stadium Killarney. Tickets Information : Tickets are now available for purchase from the County Board Office in Tralee and Kerry GAA Store in Killarney Outlet Centre, via gaa.ie/tickets and participating Centra and Supervalu Outlets.

POC FADA : The Poc Fada County Final takes place on Kerry Head mountain on Bank Holiday Monday June 4th commencing at 1pm. CLUB DRAW : Our final Monthly Club Draw took place last Sunday night in the Complex and the following are the Winners : 1stPrize (€1000) – Paudie Casey, 2nd Prize (€200) – Dan O’Leary, 3rd Prize (€100) – Pat Daly c/o Top Part. Congratulations to our winners and thanks once again to all who have supported the draw over the past few months.

COMMUNION : Congratulations to all our young hurlers who made their Holy Communion recently in St. Bernard’s Church, Abbeydorney. Hope you all had a wonderful day.
