U12 : Our U12s were defeated by a strong Ballyduff team last Friday evening in Abbeydorney. Final Score : Abbeydorney 1-04 Ballyduff 6-10. They will play St. Pat’s, Killarney this Friday evening, Sept 21st @ 6.00pm in Abbeydorney. They will also play in the Munster Blitz the following day in Adare, Co. Limerick @ 11.00am
U14 : Well done to our U14 team who defeated Tralee Parnells last Friday evening. Abbeydorney 6-09 Tralee Parnells 3-13
U16 : Our U16 team played Ballyduff in the N.K. U16 C’Ship last Sunday in Abbeydorney. Final Score : Abbeydorney 5-08 Ballyduff 3-14. Great comeback by our boys in the 2nd half to secure a draw. They play St. Brendan’s Ardfert on Sunday, 23rd @ 12noon in Ardfert and face Ballyheigue on Wednesday 26th September @ 7.30pm in Abbeydorney.
MINORS : A date and venue has yet to be confirmed for the Co. League Div. 1 Final where we will play Ballyheigue/Causeway in a repeat of the Co. C’Ship Final.
Abbeydorney/Ballyheigue team that played Kenmare/Kilgarvan in the Co. U21 C’Ship
U21 : Our U21 team suffered a heavy defeat to a strong, physical Kenmare/Kilgarvan side last Saturday afternoon in Abbeydorney. Final Score : Abbeydorney/Ballyheigue 1-09 Kenmare/Kilgarvan 3-22. This is a young U21 team with athe majority of the team playing at minor level. In the N.K. U21 C’Ship, we received a bye and will play Kilmoyley/Stacks in the semi-final. Date and Venue TBC.
KERRY HURLING ALL-STARS : The Kerry Hurling All Stars will take place in Abbeydorney GAA Club House on October 6th at 8.00 pm sharp. The event usually runs for between 45 minutes and one hour. Nominees will soon be announced. The event is free and all are welcome.
