The Féile teams
FÉILE 2019 : The Club would like to thank all involved in supporting and organising what was a fantastic Féile weekend for our young hurlers and their families.
Special mention to the host families who provided accommodation for our visitors, Kinnity-Lusmagh players and mentors for the weekend. To all those who supported the various fundraising efforts which covered the costs for playing gear, refreshments and catering for the weekend.
Well Done to the team and mentors on reaching the quarter-final of the Shield. Finally, to the Kinnity-Lusmagh team and supporters, who were a pleasure to host and certainly enjoyed the hospitality and entertainment provided. We hope that the players will cross paths again on the playing field in the near future.
The Under 10s.
U10s : Our U10s took part in the N.K. U10 Blitz last Saturday morning in Abbeydorney. Some great hurling played. Well Done to all the players. Thanks to the parents for the refreshments provided
INTERMEDIATE : Commiserations to our Intermediate team who were defeated by Causeway in the N.K. Intermediate C’Ship Final last Saturday evening in Kilmoyley. Final Score : Causeway 1-18 Abbeydorney 0-10. Co. League Div. 2 – Abbeydorney -v- Kilgarvan in Kilgarvan, Friday 21st June @ 7.30pm.
SENIOR : North Kerry Senior ‘B’ Final this Wednesday, 19th June @ 8.00pm in Kilmoyley -v- St. Brendans, Ardfert. Best of luck to the team and management. Co. Senior Hurling League Div. 1 – Abbeydorney -v- Causeway, Sunday 23rd June in Abbeydorney @ 2.00pm.
INTER-COUNTY : Well Done to Jamesie O’Connor, Michael O’Leary and Michael Slattery who were part of the Kerry Senior Hurling Team that defeated Offaly last Saturday in the final round of the Joe McDonagh Cup. Congratulations to Mikey Clifford and the Kerry Minor Hurling team who defeated Waterford in the quarter-final of tahe Celtic Challenge Cup last weekend. They will play Cork City in the semi-final this coming weekend.
KERRY FOOTBALL : Best of luck to club players Oisin Maunsell, Jack Sheehan and Tomás Óg Ó hAiniféin who are all part of the Kerry Minor Football Panel for 2019. They will play Cork in the Munster Final this Saturday afternoon in Páirc Uí Chaoimh @ 4.30pm.
