CLUB MEMBERSHIP 2020 : With training returning for majority of our teams, it is very vital that membership for 2020 be renewed. If you are yet to register, please do so without delay via the club websitewww.abbeydorneygaa.ie#membership

U12 : Our U12 team was defeated by Kilmoyley in Kilmoyley last Friday evening in their opening game. We play Lixnaw at home this Friday evening @ 7.00pm.

U14 : Our U14s were defeated by Causeway on Saturday afternoon. We play Kilmoyley in Kilmoyley this Saturday @ 5.00pm

U16 : The Co. U16 hurling league will commence on Sat, 30th July.

MINOR : The draw for the Co. Minor C’Ship has taken place and Abbeydorney have drawn Crotta/Kilmoyley in the quarter-final. This game is due to be played the weekend of 22nd/23rd August.

INTERMEDIATE : We will play Dr. Crokes in the quarter-final of the Co. Intermediate C’Ship. Date to be confirmed for this.

SENIOR : Our Senior team played Crotta in the opening round of the N.K. C’Ship last Monday evening in Dromakee. Final Score : Abbeydorney 2-10 Crotta O’Neills 1-17. Report in next week’s notes.

COVID-SUPERVISORS : Our team of Covid Supervisors is in place and a special thanks to all for volunteering for this role. The team is led by Covid Officer – Timmy Weir along with team members : Louise Hanafin, Janice O’Sullivan, Fiona Costello, Margaret Hogan, Michelle Fitzmaurice, Peter Hinchliffe, Jackie Treanor and William O’Leary.

CLUB MONTHLY DRAW : Our Club Monthly Draw will commence next month with the first draw taking place on Sunday, 30th August. You can enter the draw online @ http://www.abbeydorneygaa.ie#draw or through any committee member. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

LAST MAN STANDING : Congratulations to Liam Boyle, Ballyduff who was the winner of our Last Man Standing Fundraiser. Well Done Liam. Thanks once again to all who entered the competition.

GAA HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE : Reminder that the GAA Health Questionnaire must be filled out by all Hurling and Camogie players (adult) and parents of players (Juvenile) prior to the first training session that you attend. The team COVID supervisor will be checking that all players who attend training have the Questionnaire completed. https://returntoplay.gaa.ie/
