AFTER two hit comedy dramas in the past couple of years, the trilogy will be complete later this week when ‘One Ordination and a Donation’ will be performed at Na Gaeil GAA clubhouse.
The play will be staged on Wednesday, February 27, Thursday, February 28 and Saturday, March 2, (7.30pm) and the actors are in final rehearsals for the play from the pen of the talented Mary Quirke from Oakpark.
Her previous efforts, ‘One Wedding and a Funeral’ and ‘One Murder and a Christening’ were sellout successes and this is likely to follow suit.

A modern day miracle occurred at the end of the saga, with the transformation of Holy Water into brandy. Mary continues the story from this point, and the ensuing chaos and hilarity will surely lift the clubhouse roof on all three of the performance nights.
“It’s the same characters as before and we give a recap on what happened in the two previous plays at the beginning,” Mary Quirke told us last month. “All funds raised go to the club and there’s refreshments afterwards too. The actors are very good, we’re at rehearsals since October and there’s a lot of work and organising involved.”
Tickets, priced at €20, are now available in the bar for Wednesday and Thursday (Saturday is sold out) so grab them while their still available.
