THE woman killed in yesterday’s road accident near Annascaul has been named as Susan Joan Maher from Minnesota, USA.
Gardai in Annascaul are investigating the two vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occured at Ballynane, Annascaul, at approximately 6.40pm on Thursday evening.
The 59 year old American woman was fatally injured when the car she was a passenger in collided with another car. She was removed to Kerry General Hospital and died later that evening.
The female driver of the car (58), along with the male driver (39) of the other car were removed to Kerry General Hospital. Their injuries are not life threatening.
