An Increase Of Five In Number Of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases In Kerry

THERE was an increase of five in the number of confirmed cases of the Coronavirus in Kerry announced this evening, with the total so far in the county officially at 276.

The national figures were revealed as usual at the daily briefing from the Department of Health this evening.

52 more people have died from the Coronavirus in Ireland.  This brings the total of people who have died after contracting COVID-19 to 1,063.

The number of people who have tested positive for the virus in the Republic of Ireland, now stands at 18,561 after 377 new cases were confirmed this evening.

Kerry has the 15th most cases in the country after Dublin (9,010), Cork (1,103), Kildare (1,003), Louth (590), Meath (578), Wicklow (558), Cavan (536), Limerick (441), Donegal (437), Westmeath (421), Mayo (395), Tipperary (345) and Galway (332) and Monaghan (327). The Department’s Covid-19 information dashboard can be accessed by clicking here.
