An Increase Of One In Number Of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases In Kerry

THERE was an increase of one in the number of confirmed cases of the Coronavirus in Kerry announced this evening, with the total so far in the county at 295.

Nineteen more deaths from the virus were reported this evening in Ireland at the daily briefing from the National Public Health Emergency Team.  This brings the total of people who have died after contracting COVID-19 to 1,303.

The number of people who have tested positive for the virus in the Republic of Ireland so far, now stands at 21,506 after 330 new cases were confirmed this evening.

Kerry has the 16th most cases in the country after Dublin (10,406), Kildare (1,242), Cork (1,164), Meath (699), Louth (673), Cavan (673), Wicklow (618), Limerick (580), Westmeath (509), Mayo (494), Tipperary (478), Donegal (461), Monaghan (409), Galway (365) and Offaly (305). The Department’s Covid-19 information dashboard can be accessed by clicking here.
