An Increase Of Three In Number Of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases In Kerry

THERE was an increase of three in the number of confirmed cases of the Coronavirus in Kerry announced this evening, with the total so far in the county at 298.

Sixteen more deaths from the virus were reported this evening in Ireland at the daily briefing from the National Public Health Emergency Team.  This brings the total of people who have died after contracting COVID-19 to 1,319.

The number of people who have tested positive for the virus in the Republic of Ireland so far, now stands at 21,772 after 266 new cases were confirmed this evening.

Kerry has the 16th most cases in the country after Dublin (10,561), Kildare (1,268), Cork (1,175), Meath (713), Louth (679), Cavan (682), Wicklow (622), Limerick (583), Westmeath (540), Mayo (501), Tipperary (479), Donegal (465), Monaghan (423), Galway (365) and Offaly (314). The Department’s Covid-19 information dashboard can be accessed by clicking here.
