AN angling group has raised funds for a vital service at their annual event.

Tim O Sullivan of the Lough Leine Anglers Association presented a cheque for €2,500 to Breda Dyland (Manager), and Trish Kelly of the Kerry Cancer Support Group in The Dromhall Hotel, Killarney on Tuesday, June 7.

The funds were raised during the club’s annual Fly-Fishing Event. The Lough Leine Anglers Association is one of the longest established fishing clubs in Ireland.

Kerry Cancer Support Group would like to thank the club and all those who took part in the event.

The Kerry Cork Health Link bus travels every day to Cork University Hospital (with the exception of Christmas Day, St Stephens Day and Public Holidays). The route services Kerry and parts of Cork. This free service is offered on a confidential basis.
