Another Big Decrease In Tralee LEA COVID Cases

THE number of new COVID-19 cases in the Tralee Local Electoral Area (LEA) continues to fall according to the latest figures available on the Government’s COVID-19 data hub.

There were 177 new confirmed cases in the two week period up to Monday, April 25, compared to the 267 in the fortnight up to Monday, April 18.

Tralee LEA has a 14-day incidence rate of 535.7 per 100,000 of the population, but it’s still above the national incidence of 405.7 per 100,000 and the third highest in the county.

The incidence rate in Kerry is 419 per 100,000. In all, there were 619 new cases recorded in Kerry during the fortnight period up to Wednesday, April 27, the fifth highest rate in the country.

The Castleisland LEA had the highest incidence rate, seeing 98 new cases and a rate of 571.6 per 100,000. The Corca Dhuibhne Local Electoral Area saw 79 new cases and a rate of 557.1 per 100,000.

Listowel LEA saw 140 new cases and a rate of 488.2 per 100,000. The Killarney Electoral Area saw 125 new cases, a current 14-day incidence rate of 422.2 per 100k of the population.

There is one LEA in Kerry which has a rate below the national average. Kenmare LEA had 101 new cases, a rate of 403 per 100,000.

The total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Kerry, since the pandemic began according to the latest data up to Wednesday, April 27, is 37,769.

    Seriously, if people do not know this was a bad joke on them by now and they were fooled into voluntary agreeing to participate in the largest human experimental drugs trial in human history with a substance that will not be passed for regulatory use in the future due to heath concerns?

    It normally takes up to 12 years of clinical trial before any drug goes to human trials for a grave reasons!
