A KERRY woman has claimed a nice €100,000 after winning in the Christmas Millionaire Raffle draw.
The shocked Kerry woman was at Lottery HQ in Dublin today to pick up her prize and admitted that she completely forget she had bought a ticket for the Raffle and only found out about her win yesterday.
She said: “I was at home with my parents when my mum was putting her Millionaire Raffle ticket in the bin, saying that she won nothing. It just dawned on me then that I had a ticket too. I rushed upstairs to where the ticket was sitting for the past week and checked it online. I couldn’t believe it. I just thought something isn’t right here. It can’t be me!”

The woman also revealed that she will take a while to process the win before deciding what to do with her €100,000. She bought her winning raffle ticket (number 52944) at Garvey’s Supervalu in Listowel.
It comes a day after a family from Kerry collected their €1,000,000 winnings from the Daily Millions draw on Friday, December 28. They got their ticket in Applegreen Service Station in Manor.
