AFTER the snow on Sunday, it’ll be back to plain old rain this afternoon as Met Éireann has issued another Status Yellow rainfall warning for Munster and Leinster.

A spell of heavy rain will move up from the south Tuesday afternoon, giving 25 to 35 mm of rain. The larger totals are likely to be over southern and eastern counties. The warning is valid from 3pm this afternoon until Wednesday morning at 6am.

Judging by the predicted rainfall sequence on the Met Eireann website, it looks like to heaviest rainfall in Kerry will be between 4pm and 10pm tonight. It’ll be cold too with temperatures dropping to around five degrees tonight.
