Another Weather Warning Issued For Kerry

ANOTHER weather warning has been issued for Kerry this morning to go along with the rainfall alert in effect at the moment.

Met Éireann issued the Status Yellow Wind warning for  Kerry, Wexford, Cork and Waterford which come into effect at 5am on Tuesday morning until 3pm on Tuesday afternoon.

Southeast winds, veering southwest will reach mean speeds of 50-65km/h, gusting up to 100km/h. Exceptionally high tides combined with strong onshore winds gives an elevated risk of coastal flooding.

Meanwhile , Met Eireann has revised its Status Yellow Rainfall warning to end sooner than previously flagged yesterday.

There’ll be heavy rain at times Monday and Tuesday with a risk of flooding. Rainfall totals of around 30-50mm expected, possibly higher in mountainous areas. The warning is in effect from this morning until 3pm on Tuesday.
