Another Wind Warning In Effect For Kerry

AFTER a number of warnings over the past couple of days, yet another Status Yellow Wind warning been issued by Met Eireann for Kerry.

The warning is in effect for Kerry as well as Donegal, Galway, Mayo and Sligo. This evening and tonight northwesterly winds will reach mean speeds of 50 to 65km/h with gusts of 90 to 110km/h, strongest on coasts. The warning is valid until 7am on Tuesday morning.

However, the outlook over the next few days is much brighter for the county. From Tuesday afternoon is will be drier and brighter, though it will still be blustery in the county.

After a wet start on Wednesday morning, the afternoon will be sunny, but cold, with the odd shower and winds easing.

Thursday will be similar with winds easing even more while Friday and weekend look to be cold but sunny and dry.
