Our 10s hosted St. Pats in The Sportsfield on Friday evening. The coaches were delighted with the performance of all the lads with some great football played. Well done to both sets of players. They are away to Listry on Friday next, 25th September, at 6:45. Players are asked to be in Listry for 6:30pm.

U12

Our U12s have now played all their league games in Phase 2. They hosted Na Gaeil on Sunday evening for a challenge game. Training continues Thursday 6-7.

U14

Our U14 were away to Ballymac on Sunday evening.  They were victorious on a scoreline of 2-07 to 5-12.

U16

Our U16s travelled to Glenflesk last Monday evening for their 2nd game in Division 1 of the County League. They put in a very impressive performance coming away with a 3-point win against the table toppers in this division. The date for their home game against Laune Rangers is yet to be announced

Seniors

On Saturday evening our Seniors travelled to Killorglin for the Intermediate Football relegation play off (Round 1) where they played a fancied St. Marys side who are training for the South Kerry Championship. St. Marys started the brighter but failed to put scores on the board. Ardfert backs got on top and we led by 1 point at half time. In the second half Daithi, Bobby and Nathan took full advantage of the wind and kicked some beautiful long-range scores. We held on for the last 10 minutes for a great win to maintain Intermediate status for next year. Well done to the players and Shane Griffin and his backroom team.

We face Churchill in the semi final of the St. Brendan’s Board Championship on Saturday next at 4:30pm in Churchill.
