REGISTRATION

Thanks to all our members who have paid up for the coming year. We appeal to any member who has yet to register to log into www.foireann.ie and register as soon as possible. Anyone attending either juvenile or senior training must be registered for this year as they will not be covered by insurance should they get injured.

If you are a fully paid-up member and receive an email stating that your membership has been revoked, please ignore it as it is a mistake. We are working with Foireann to resolve the issue.

SENIORS

Our seniors travelled to Castlegregory on Sunday for round 5 of the County Football League Div 4. Well done on coming away with a win on a scoreline of Castlegregory 0-16 Ardfert 2-15.

5/7/9

Training continues this Thursday from 6-7pm at the ARC Astro turf beside the Medical Centre. Please bring €2 to cover costs.

Our U9s hosted St. Senan’s in the Astroturf last Thursday evening. It was great to see the skill levels on display by both sets of players with a very enjoyable evening had by all. The future is certainly bright.

U11

Our u11s travelled to Finuge on Thursday last for round 3 of the Lee Strand County Go Games. In perfect playing conditions our two teams played great football. Well done to everybody involved and thank you to Finuge for hosting us.

Next up is St. Senans at home on Thursday evening.

U13

Both our U13 teams had good wins over the weekend.

On Sunday evening our B team had a convincing win over Austin Stacks B in the Tralee/St. Brendans board league. Our A team had a challenge game against Ballyduff on Monday morning and also recorded a win. Well done to both teams on 2 great performances.

Our last round of games in stage 1 of the County League is away to Listowel on Sunday next, 8th May.

U15

Our U15s played some outstanding football against Listowel on Wednesday night last but in the end came up short on a scoreline of Listowel 4-08 Ardfert 1-09. Unfortunately, things didn’t go our way in the Feile U15 football on Saturday morning where we lost out to Finuge on a scoreline of 1-05 to 0-03.

U17

Well done to our U17s who had a good win over Churchill on Monday evening in round 1 of the Central Region Div 1 league. Final score Churchill 0-17 Ardfert 2-13. They travel to Keel/Listry for round 2 next Monday evening
