MURALS are to be installed in strategic locations around Tralee town centre after funding was secured for Tralee Tidy Towns through Creative Ireland.

A call out has been issued to artists to apply to paint the murals. Artists may apply as individuals, or as a group of artists submitting collaborative proposals.

“The power of public art to transform a community is undeniable,” said Joe Moynihan of Tralee Tidy Towns. “We hope to ignite conversation, foster community respect and create an atmosphere that is warm and inviting and I would encourage artists to get involved.”
