THE Ashe Hotel, Tralee’s newest hotel, will open its doors for the first time on Thursday, April 9 in the heart of the town, leading to the creation of up to 50 jobs.

“The arrival and opening of the Ashe Hotel is an exciting addition to the tourism sector in Tralee and Kerry,” said General Manager of the Ashe Hotel, Stephen O’Connor.

“We already have a comfortable booking base through the months of May to October and our team is ready to welcome visitors from the home holiday and international markets. Following a complete refurbishment, The Ashe Hotel has been finished to an amazingly high standard, offering a wonderful destination for family, leisure, group and corporate stays,” said Mr O’Connor.

The General Manager of the Ashe Hotel, Stephen O’Connor is a Killarney-native who has spent the past five years as the General Manager of Dooly’s Hotel in Birr, County Offaly. He previously worked in the Great Southern Hotels in Killarney and Parknasilla.

“The vision of the proprietors and experience of the design team has played a major role in delivering a beautifully decorated and designed hotel with that contemporary boutique feel,” said Stephen.

The 100 bedroomed Ashe Hotel will initially open with 71 quality ensuite bedrooms, superior beds, flat screen HD Televisions with over 48 digital channels, superb lighting features, direct dial telephones, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary WiFi and a spacious work desk.

The bar is offering Gastro Bar Food with an emphasis on locally sourced produce served daily.
