HERE’S something to get Austin Stacks fans in the mood for the county final.
The passion of the Rockie hordes is captured brilliantly on a short audio documentary made by Ballyduff native Kathryn Smith.
At the time Kathryn, who is married to a Connolly Park man, John Smith, was doing a course in Radio Kerry and interviewed Kieran Donaghy days before their ill-fated effort against Dr Crokes, as well as fans in the clubhouse on final day and recordings of the chanting and songs on the train to Killarney.
Among the fans interviewed are Kevin Carroll, Seamus Smith and Anthony McAuliffe.
