PEIL FAOI 14:

(i) Our As and Bs played their first County League games on Wednesday last. Results – (a) AdeS A: 3-12; An Ghaeltacht: 4-11. Our lads were very unlucky to lose by a mere 0-2 in aghaidh leaideanna na Gaeltachta. (b) AdeS B: 2-7; Firies B: 4-10. After an unlucky start and two quick goals from Firies, we were chasing the game.

However, four points from Evan Foley and a point from Ruairí Ó Conaill kept it close and at halftime, they led by 0-3…3-2 to 1-5. Hard work from Johnny Feely and Dylan Hurley kept us in the game but a late goal from Firies sealed our fate! Final score: 4-10 to 2-7.

We learned a lot from the game and will be gaining experience with each outing!
