Austin Stacks And Tralee Mourns Jackie Power

THE Austin Stacks GAA family is in mourning after news of the passing of Jackie Power spread last night.

Son of Limerick hurling legend, Jackie and brother of Kerry great, Ger, Jackie himself was an accomplished hurler and footballer with the Stacks club.

He will be missed by his loving family — wife Noreen, daughters Siobhán, Gráinne, Deirdre and son Seán — his grandchildren Conor, Chloe, Matisse and Theo, brothers David (Middleton, Cork) and Ger (Tralee), sisters Eleanor (Kelliher- Tralee), Breda (McNamara- Ennis) and Sheila (Patel- Kent, UK), sons-in-law Timmy and Damien, daughter-in-law Amelie, mother-in-law Kitty (Molyneaux), nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at The Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee this Sunday June 2nd from 2 to 5 pm with removal at 5 pm to Our Lady & St. Brendan’s Church. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11 am. Interment afterwards in New Rath Lawn Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Palliative Care Unit, U.H.K. or care of The Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee. House private please.
