JUVENILE CLUB NOTES

PEIL FAOI 6/8/10: (i) On SATURDAY next, April 1st, our Under 6/8/10 boys (all teams) will travel to the Legion Club in Killarney. We’ll depart from our Connolly station at 9.30am. Games will begin at 10.30am.

(ii) And we’ll have no…no…no football on Sunday morning (2nd) as our players will be too tired after tough and exciting games in aghaidh pheileadóirí láidre an Léigiúin! They can have a long sleep and get a late Mass! (iii) On Sunday the 9th, we’ll be in action in Caherslee Field at the usual time of 11am.

COOL ‘CÚL’ CAMP: Note the date! This year’s Kellogg’s Cúl Camp will take place in Páirc Uí Chonghaile from July 3rd to 7th. Go to www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie for information.

PEIL FAOI 12: (i) The County League will start on Sunday next (2nd). We’ll have 3 teams in action! Our A team will play in Division 1A, our B team will be in Division 1B and our C team will be in Division 9. Fixtures for TEAM A and TEAM B~ (a) 2ú Aibreán: v Kilcummin at home; (b) 9ú Aibreán: v Kenmare away; (c) 23ú Aibreán: bye; (d) 30ú Aibreán: v Laune Rangers away; (e) 7ú Bealtaine: v Na Crócaigh at home. Gach cluiche ag 6pm. Fixtures for TEAM C~ (a) 2nd April: v Ballymac C at home; (b) 9th April: v Piarsaigh na Dromada away; (c) 30th April: v Laune Rangers C away; (d) 7th May: v An Chúil at home.

PEIL FAOI 14:(i) ‘Well done’ to our U14A team v Na Gaeil in the Tralee Town League. Bhí an suvae leo. Foireann: Ben Quilter, Kevin Barry, Rory O’Connell, Cian Dillane, Johnny Feely, Joey Nagle, Josh Lynch, Armin Heinrich, Dean Rusk, Donnacha Sayers, Shane Bastible, Brian McElligott, Evan Foley, Conor Horan, James Charles.

(ii) ‘Well done’ to our U14B team v K-O’R in the Tralee Town League. Another Rock victory. An fhoireann: Enda Cahill, Conor Kirby, Declan Lacey, Cillian Litchfield, Darragh Moriarty, Caden O’Mahony, Michael Lesniak, Gearóid Kilgallen, John Duggan, Dylan Hurley. (iii) The CountyLeague commenced on Wednesday 29th v Raonaithe na Leamhna. (iv) Beimid ag traenáil go hoifigiúil gach Domhnach (ach amháin nuair a bheidh cluiche againn) ó 4pm go dtí 5.30pm i bPáirc Uí Chonghaile.

PEIL FAOI 16: (i) Our A team Central League U16A fixtures: (a) On Monday last our lads took on Na Gaeil (away)! Well done, boys! (b) 3rd April v Churchill (at home); (c) 10ú Aibreán v An Ghaeltacht (ag baile).

(ii) Our U16 B team is in Division 3 of the Central League. U16B proposed fixtures: (a) Last Monday’s fixture v Ardfert has been postponed. (b) 3rd April v Ballymac (away); (c) 10th April v St Pats (ag baile). The B team fixtures are subject to change as we do not want to put out A and B teams on the same days!!

(iii) Beidh traenáil againn gach Aoine ag 5pm agus gach Domhnach ag 4.30pm (except when we might have a game).

SCÓR na bPÁISTÍ: ‘Well done’ to two Greater Tralee Area groups that were pipped at the post in the county finals of Scór na bPáistí on Sunday last ar an bhFaill Mhór, viz, the Club Naomh Pádraig ballad group and acting group. The Tralee Parnells storyteller won a county title!
