PEIL FAOI 14: (i) County League results from Wednesday 29th ~ AdeS A: 1-9; Laune Rangers A: 4-12. AdeS B: 3-16; Laune Rangers B: 2-7. Tuairisc: Mixed fortunes for our U14 teams in round 1 of the County League! Our A and B teams played in Connolly Park on Wednesday (29th).

The brave Bs had a comfortable win…3-16 to 2-7. Maith sibh, a leaideanna! Imreoirí B: Enda Cahill, Conor Kirby, Declan Lacey, Cillian Litchfield, Darragh Moriarty, Caden O’Mahony, Michael Lesniak, Gearóid Kilgallen, John Duggan, Dylan Hurley. The A team match could not have started better for the Rockies with Jordan Kissane netting a goal in the first minute. Laune Rangers responded and scored 1-4. Conor Horan scored 0-2 from frees. Armin Heinrich and Shane Bastible added a point each to keep us within touching distance at half time…1-9 to 1-5.

Our forwards found it hard to get motoring in the 2nd half and never got into their expected rhythm. Efficient and effective work was done in defence by Joey Nagle (capt), Ruairí Ó Conaill, Josh Lynch and Brian McElligott; their efforts kept us in contention ‘till the final ‘tweet’,. Faraor, it was to be Rangers’ night! Scór deireanach: 4-12 to 1-9. Our A team, however, must surely rue their missed chances!

Painéal A: Ben Quilter, Caoimhín de Barra, Ruairí Ó Conaill, Cian Ó Duilleáin, Johnny Fealy, Joey de Nógla, Josh Lynch, Armin Heinrich, Dean Rusk, Donnacha Sayers, Shane Bastible, Brian McElligott, Evan Foley, Conor Horan, James Charles, Jordan Kissane. (ii) Beidh traenáil oifigiúil againn gach Domhnach (ach amháin nuair a bheadh cluiche againn) ó 4pm go dtí 5.30pm i bPáirc Uí Chonghaile.
PEIL FAOI 16: (i) On Monday last our U16 A team challenged Churchill (at home) in the Central League. Well done, boys! Our next A game will be v An Ghaeltacht ar an Luan (10ú) in Connolly Park. (ii) On Monday 3rd April, our U16 B team played Ballymac (away) i roinn a 3 den tSraith Láir. Maith sibh, a bhuachaillí! B team fixtures: (a) our game v Ardfert has to be rescheduled. (b) Next Monday (10th) v Naomh Padraig (ag baile). The B team fixtures are subject to change as we do not want to put out A and B teams on the same days!! (iii) Beidh traenáil againn gach Aoine ag 5pm agus gach Domhnach ag 4.30pm (except when we might have a game).

SCÓR: Good wishes to all Kerry artistes, and especially to Crotta’s Sonny Egan, who’ll be performing in the Munster semi-finals of Scór, on Saturday next,.
