PEIL FAOI 12: (i) Our A and B TEAMs played Crokes in the County League. Torthaí: AdeS A: 5-10; Crócaigh A: 0-10; AdeS B: 5-14; Crócaigh B: 3-4. Well done, lads! Our C TEAM played An Chúil (Cordal)…AdeS C: 3-2; An Chúil: 5-10. Better luck next time, boys! (ii) Under 12 training as usual.

PEIL FAOI 14: (i) Our boys gave of their very best at the Kerry semi-final and final of Féile Peile na nÓg at Lewis Road on Wednesday (3ú) and came out on top (v Crokes in the semi-final and) v Laune Rangers in the final…0-10 to 0-3!

Maith sibh, a leaideanna! They will represent The Kingdom in Carlow in the National ‘A’ Finals in June. An Charraig go deo! Our reporter writes: “In the semi-final, Jordan Kissane was unstoppable and scored 4-0. Donnacha Sayers and Shane Bastible helped us to a big lead by popping 0-2 each over the bar.

Then we saw a spirited comeback from Dr Crokes but our stalwarts sternly stood their ground and held out for a wonderful win! Full time – AdeS: 5-6; Crócaigh: 4-5. Laune Rangers defeated Kilcummin in the other semi-final and that set up a mouth-watering clash between the Blues of Killorglin and THE ROCK Black’n’Ambers! In the final, our braves were ‘well up’ for the challenge and none more so than Conor Horan who covered every blade of grass on the pitch and chipped in with a stylish 0-2.

Armin Heinrich and Dean Rusk won the midfield battle and delivered constant quality ball to Jordan Kissane (capt), who scored 0-3, and to his fellow faithful fighting forwards. Our strong dynamic defenders, lead by Josh Lynch, Joey Nagle and Ruairí O’Connell were dominant, holding Rangers to 0-1 in the second half.

Tá peileadóírí iontacha ar an bpainéal seo! AdeS: 0-10; Rangers: 0-3. Ar fheabhas! Now for Féile Peile na nÓg on June 23rd.”
