Austin Stacks CrestCAMPA PEILE AN CHLUB: Our autumn club football camp began on Tuesday last in Connolly Park and will run until Saturday. It’s being enjoyed by all! Tá an-pheil le feiscint ann agus is ag dul i bhfeabhas atá scileanna na n-imreoirí! Cleachtadh a dhéanann máistreacht!

FPEIL AOI 6: (i) Football on Sunday morning at 11am as usual. (ii) No…no…no evening football on Thursday as the camp lads will be exhausted from the morning’s exertions at the camp and they’ll need to go to bed early to be in good form for the Friday morning camp sessions! Early to bed…!

PEIL FAOI 8: (i) More Sunday morning football on Sunday morning at 11am. (ii) No…no evening football on Thursday as the camp boys will have to get a good night’s sleep to be readyfor the camp sessions on the morrow! (iii) Laochra na Carraige ag blitz na Mistéalach: Oilibhéar Lata, Diarmuid Ó Loinsigh, Breandán Móinséil, Ben Ó Murchú, Liam Ó Conaill, Rónán Ó Cearúill, Tomás Ó Conaill, Seán Ó Seanacháin, Cormac de Bastábla, Seán de Barra, Gavin Ó Cathasaigh, Marcas Ó Cuinn, Eoin Ó Coistealbha, Jake Ó Cearmada, Seán Mac Dáibhí, Ciarán Ó Dubháin. An Charraig Abú!

PEIL FAOI 10: (i) Football on Sunday morning at 11am. (ii) We won’t have evening football on Thursday as the camp lads will have had plenty playing time at the camp earlier in the day! (iii) Our senior trainer, Stephen Stack, and our star U10 players had great sport at Thursday’s U10 training session. ‘I saw brilliant footballers’, said Stephen. ‘These boys showed outstanding skill, they have unbelievable enthusiasm and they will be great stars in future years! Rock football is in safe hands.’ Praise indeed! (iv) We’re really looking forward to our trip to the Celbridge (Co Kildare) UNDER 10 Invitational Tournament later this month. Beidh dhá fhoireann ag taisteal ón gCarraig. (v) We’ll travel to the St Finbarr Club Tournament in Cork in early September…before we’ll see the ‘Sam Maguire’!

PEIL FAOI 11: (i) Our Under 11s played v Ballymac on Thursday last (30th). We had an enjoyable encounter and wonderful football was played by both teams! (ii) The Under 11 Bordcheantar Thrá Lí Tournament will start very soon. (iii) Our training sessions will be held every Tuesday and Thursday in Caherslee.

PEIL FAOI 12/13/14: (i) Our Under 13s play v Na Gaeil this Thursday (6th) in the final of the Kelliher’s Mills Town League (Division 1). Imreofar an cluiche ag 7.30pm ag Club na Mistéalach sa Cham, Baile Ó Síoda. Extra time will be played if necessary. Good luck, boys! (ii) We’ll shortly have a go at Comórtas Peile an Róis! A cup or shield has to be won!! (iii) Under 13 training will take place at 5.30pm on Tuesday in Connolly Park. (iv) Under 13/14 training will be held at on Wednesday (5pm – 6.15pm) and on Friday (5.30pm – 6.45pm) in Connolly Park. (v) We defeated Castle Island Desmonds (away) on Monday 27th. Scór: AdeS: 5-9; Desmonds: 3-6. (vi) We’re looking forward to the U12 Central League (An tSraith Láir).

PEIL FAOI 16: Best wishes to our U16 footballers v Na Gaeil in the county semi-final at 7:30pm this Wednesday in Connolly Park.

BONN UILE-ÉIREANN EILE BUAITE: Cúis mhór áthais dúinn go léir is ea an bua iontach a bhí ag Méabh Nic Iomhargáin agus ag foireann Faoi 16 Chiarraí v An Ghaillimh i gCraobh na hÉireann i bPeil na mBan! An-ghaisce!

FOIRNE CHIARRAÍ: ‘Well done’ to Star’s Kerry v Kildare! The Kerry minors played good football v Sligo and our own Jack Ó Muireagáin and Ferdia Ó Briain were part of the panel. Congratulations to Kerry’s minor hurlers (with Tralee’s Ciarán Breen on board) who defeated Kildare in the All-Ireland ‘B’ semi-final. Best wishes to our U21 hurlers who’ll challenge Meath on Saturday next.
