PEIL FAOI 12: A great day was had on Saturday last as 30 Rock players and a great group of parents and mentors made the trip to the ‘real capital’….cois Laoi. We enjoyed two very competitive matches against Baile an Easpaig (together with some excellent hospitality) before making the short hop to the St Finbarr Club for more of the same! A call to McDonald’s, on the way home, completed what was a memorable day that has been of great benefit to us all and has shown us the areas on which we must build over the coming weeks! ‘Well done’ to players, mentors and parents. Lá dár saol a bhí ann, gan aon agó! Upwards and onwards, a leaideanna na Carraige!

PEIL FAOI 14: Our Under 14 INDOOR training is being held in the club gym on Thursdays at 5.45pm. Our Sunday OUTDOOR training has been taking place in the Tralee Harriers Field.

Thanks to The Harriers Club for the use of its grounds and thanks to parents and players for the great turnouts despite the change in venue. Our training venue is decided upon on a weekly basis…depending on the availability of the field in Connolly Park. The County League has started.

SEANFHOCAIL NA SEACHTAINE i mBLIAIN NA GAEILGE: (i) Má tú ag lorg cara gan locht, beidh tú gan chara go deo (if you are looking for a friend without a fault, you’ll be without a friend forever); (ii) Dá fhada í an oíche, tagann an lá (however long the night, day will come).

SCÓR NA SINSEAR ’18: ‘Well done’ to The Rock set dancers and their coach, Mícheál Ó Murchú, on winning the first dancing county final for The Rock in over 30 years.
