PARÁID LAE ‘LE PÁDRAIG: The Tralee St Patrick’s Day Parade will take place on Saturday March 17th commencing at the roundabout entrance to The Rose Hotel and ending in The Square i lár an bhaile. Please note that there will be new starting and finishing points for the parade. We will have some family fun on The Mall after the parade.

PEIL FAOI 6/8/10: Next Sunday morning again: (i) Under 6 Boys (2012/13) at 11am in the Mounthawk Gym with William Kirby, Keith McKensie, Johnathon Magnier, Brendan Smith, Wayne Quillinan, Kieran OFlaherty. (ii) Under 8 Boys (2011/2010) at 12.00 in the Mounthawk Gym with Pa Laide, Michael Lynch, Micko Horan. (iii) Under 10 Boys (2008/2009) at 11am on the The Green (CBS) Astroturf Pitch (laistigh má bhíonn sé ag cur báistí) with Ger Power, Brian Shanahan, Dex Carmody, Laurence Cotter, Kieran O’Donoghue.

PEIL FAOI 12: Still glowing after our lovely outing to Cork and our excellent challenges v Baile an Easpaig and Club Naomh Fionnbarra, we had a great workout last Sunday morning. We’re back again this coming Sunday morning in the Sports Complex Hall. Time will be confirmed by text. We’re now in preparation mode for our next Under 12 challenges. As we’ll have a number of friendly matches in the next few weeks, it is very important that everyone attends training. We must fine-tune our many and varied skills as we prepare for the long season ahead!! Chun oibre linn!
PEIL FAOI 14: Our Under 14 INDOOR training is being held in the club gym on Thursdays at 5.45pm. Our Sunday OUTDOOR training has been taking place in the Tralee Harriers Field. Thanks to The Harriers Club for the use of its grounds and thanks to parents and players for the great turnouts despite the change in venue. Our training venue is decided upon on a weekly basis…depending on the availability of the field in Connolly Park. The County League has started. Expected fixtures: (a) TDB A League fixtures: ROINN 1: 8ú Márta (refixed)…Ades A (away) v B/mac; 3ú Márta at 4pm…AdeS A (ag baile) v Na Gaeil; 10ú Márta ag 4pm…AdeS A (as baile) v K-O’R. (b) TDB B fixtures: ROINN 3: 8ú Márta (refixed)…AdeS B (as baile) v B/mac; 10ú Márta ag 3pm…AdeS B (at home) v K-O’R.

PEIL FAOI 15: We’ll be travelling to Fermoy on Saturday March 24th for the Annual Pa O’Brien tournament. This is always an enjoyable and competitive outing.
PEIL FAOI 16: (i) We will be holding a flag day around the town for our Under 16 group. Please give generously. Beidh fáilte roimh gach aon leathphingin! (ii) Training for our Under 16 players will take place on Fridays and on Sundays. (iii) The Central League will commence on March 26th and we will have two teams competing, the A team in division 1 and the B team in division 3. The As will play Laune Rangers in the first round and the Bs will be in action v St Pats. Gach ádh oraibh, a bhuachaillí.
CORN UÍ MHUIRÍ: Best Wishes to Seán Quilter, David Fitzmaurice, Eoghan Carroll, Daniel O’Rourke and Shane Kelliher in the Munster Colleges Final (Corn Uí Mhuirí) on Saturday at 1pm in Fitzgerald Stadium. Beidh Meánscoil na mBráithre Críostaí ag imirt in aghaidh na Pobalscoile …..Pobal Scoil Chorca Dhuibhne. An Fhaiche Abú!
SCÓR na bPÁISTÍ: The Greater Tralee Area Scór na bPáistí will take place on Tuesday 20th March at 6.30pm i nGaelscoil Mhic Easmainn, Ráth Rónáin. Entry date: Monday 12th March. We have a singer and a storyteller. Entrants welcome for the other competitions. (For information on competitions, go to the Kerry GAA website…under CULTÚR). The county semi-final will be held at 4pm on Saturday April 7th.The county finals will take place at 2pm on Sunday April 22nd in Foilmore Community Centre. The county final quiz (have we 4 volunteers?) will be held at 11am on Sunday April 22nd; quiz venue to be confirmed.

SCÓR NA SINSEAR ’18: Best wishes to The Rock set dancers and their coach, Mícheál Ó Murchú, who’ll perform in the Munster Senior Scór finals at 6pm on Saturday next, March 10th, in Cappamore, County Limerick. Rinceoirí na Carraige: Seán Ó Floinn, Bernie Uí Mhainchín, Éamonn Ó Raghallaigh, Tracey Mhic Liam, Maidhc Ó Muirthile, Eibhlín Mhic Ionnrachtaigh, Tadhg Ó Miacháin, Siobhán Uí Chathasaigh. The All-Ireland finals will take place at 3pm in the Knockrea Arena, Sligo IT, on Saturday April 14th.

CAMPAÍ ‘CÚL’: (i) Hurling camp in Caherslee from 13th to 17th August. (ii) Football camp in Connolly Park from 2nd to 6th July.
