Austin Stacks CrestPEIL FAOI 6/8: (i) More football on Sunday! (ii) The final of the Under 6 boys’ league will take place at 5.35pm on Thursday in Connolly Park and that will end Thursday football for the 2015 season. (iii) We’re looking forward to a visit from the Legion footballers on 4thOctober (Dé Domhnaigh).

PEIL FAOI 9/10: (i) We’re back again to the usual Sunday morning football! (ii) Thursday evening is for our internal cup competitions. (iii) Legion will visit us on Sunday 4th October.

PEIL FAOI 11/12: (i) Our final Central League game v Na Gaeil was rescheduled for Tuesday last (22nd) at 6.30pm i bPáirc na Gaeil i gCillín. (ii) We look forward to our Under 11 boys’ annual trip to Na Piarsaigh (Corcaigh).

PEIL FAOI 13: ‘Well done’ to all who played a part in the Lee Strand Tournament. BUÍOCHAS SPEISIALTA: We sincerely thank the following families for hosting the young players from Clontarf: Fitzmaurices, Kavanaghs, Scanlons, Healys, O’Donnells, Kellihers, Nagles, Chesters, McMahons, Kearns, Purcells.

BUÍOCHAS MÓR EILE: Thanks to the catering meitheal that fed the multitudes. Buíochas le Lillian Breen, Patsy Hobbert agus Paddy Allen a bhronn na gradaim ar na buaiteopirí. PEIL FAOI 14: If Na Gaeil were to defeat Churchill and we were to pip Na Gaeil in the Tralee Town Board Under 14 League, we would have won all our season’s competitions. Our important game v Na Gaeil was played in Connolly Park (6.30pm) on Wednesday 23rd.

PEIL FAOI 15: It’s Corn Uí Mhóráin time again! The big Under 15 Munster Colleges’ game is fast approaching (September 30th). Old rivals, The Green and The Sem, will go head-to-head in this early round knock-out game. Rockites involved: David Oba, Eoghan Carroll, Seán Quilter, Daniel O’Rourke, Cian Purcell, Conor Myers, Luke Chester. An Fhaiche Abú!

PEIL FAOI 16: (i) Our A team has won the Bordcheantar Thrá Lí Division 1 football competition. Gaisce mór! (ii) Our Bs played Ardfert on Tuesday 22nd (6.30pm). (ii) See Under 16 fixtures in Juvenile Notes for Wednesday 26th August on www.austinstacks.ie.
