CLUB AGM: A reminder that our Club AGM will take place in the Clubrooms, Connolly Park on Sunday week next, 8th January at 12 noon. Nominations are invited for all positions on the incoming Executive Committee.

Nominations and Motions for discussion should be returned to Club Secretary, Elma Nix, 37 Highfield Grove, Tralee or email Secretary.ausinstacks.kerry@gaa.ie to be received on or before 5pm on this Thursday (29th Dec).

CLUB WEBSITE: Many Members and others who regularly read the various reports/articles on our Website might assume that all this is achieved by the authors of said same.

Well that’s not the case. While the named authors are normally responsible for what appears in the body of the reports the usually very witty and appropriate headlines on each report is written by Elma Nix who is also responsible for putting the articles up on the web.

And all this in addition to her onerous job as Club Secretary.  So well done Elma for what is always a brilliant and up to date Website.

CONGRATULATIONS: to our own Maurice McNamara who was elected Chairman of the Kerry Ladies Football last week. Best of luck Maurice in your new venture.

BINGO: There will be no Bingo on this coming Saturday (New Year’s Eve). The Bingo is due to resume again on Saturday week, 7th January.

CLUBHOUSE: As always the Clubhouse is available for all types of Parties. For Bookings, phone Maurice McNamara at 086 3747 642.

CARDS: The 45 Card Sessions will continue in the Clubhouse on every Monday (apart from this St. Stephen’s Day Monday) and Thursday nights, commencing at 9.30pm each night.

LOTTO: Last week’s (19th Dec) Jackpot, worth €5,000, was not won. The numbers drawn were 1, 10, 15, 21. The €20 winners were: Richie Barry, c/o Richard Healy; Siobhán Power, c/o The Ladies; Jack McKivergan, c/o John Breen; Terry Healy, c/o Club Rockies; and Carmel O’Neill, c/o The Club.
