PEIL FAOI 6: Sunday next will be our final football Sunday of the season with big activity in store at 11am in Caherslee. Firstly, we’ll take our TEAM PHOTOGRAPH for our very important 2018 calendar. Secondly, the Jimmy Barry Cup will be played for and fought for! Four strong and energetic teams will be fighting for the glory of The Rock and for the honour of being the holders of Corn de Barra for the coming 12 months! Agus, le cúnamh Dé, beidh aimsir dheas againn don ócáid!

PEIL FAOI 8: Next Sunday will be the last for The Rock Under 8 footballers for this season and we look forward to the conclusion of the Bracker Regan Trophy competition. ‘Austin Stacks’, ‘Rockies’, ‘Rock St’and ‘Black & Amber’ will strive to be ‘masters of the pigskin’! A morning of excitement awaits!

PEIL FAOI 10: We played some scintillating football on Sunday last against Killarney Legion. Brilliant football was exhibited on all sides and our young stars won two out of three matches! Gabhaimid buíochas leis Na Léigiúnaigh as teacht chugainn! (ii) We are looking forward to the John Lynch Trophy competition on October 29th. (iii) We’ll have training as usual next Sunday in Caherslee.
PEIL FAOI 13: The Kellihers’ Mills Under 13 Football Championship semi-finals, under the auspices of Tralee Town Board, took place on Sunday 15th when Na Gaeil overcame Ardfert and our warriors defeated Ballymac (in Connolly Park). Our brilliant Black’n’Amber brigade will face Na Gaeil in the final in Caherslee on Sunday next at 12.15pm. Come on, boys! Come along, followers!
CAID FAOI 15: (i) The Town Board Under 15 championship will commence next weekend. (ii) We put on a great performance in the County Competition last Thursday in Caherslee. We became Tralee qualifiers with two fine wins over the Na Gaeil and the Kerins-O’Rahilly Clubs. We eagerly look forward to the finals will take place on October 26th. An Charraig Abú!

CAID FAOI 16: The curtain came down on a fantastic season on Sunday evening last when we were unlucky against a well-motivated Ardfert side in the Town Final (Roinn 2). With a multitude of 16 year olds missing, our largely Under 14/15 boys put in a titanic performance but were pipped at the final hurdle! Best wishes to Conor Myers on his recuperation from an unfortunate injury late in the game. With both Central and County Leagues ‘in the bag’ we are happy to say that it has been a great season and we look forward to these fine players progressing to minor and/or going again at this level an séasúr seo chugainn – 2018.
AN BHÁCÁIL: Thanks to all who supported the club cake sale on Sunday last. Buíochas ollmhór to all, including our own boys and girls, who baked superbly. Even the grandmother of Legion player, Senan Mac Coitir, baked a delicious císte!
IOMÁNAÍOCHT: ‘Well done’ to all involved in the Trevor Barrett Tournament on Saturday last.
