FAOI 6: Our UNDER 6 boys (born in 2013/14) will train in the Mounthawk Gym at 11am. Among the coaching staff will be Mickey Collins, Tim McMahon, Jonathan Magnier and Brendan Smith.

FAOI 8: The UNDER 8s (boys born in 2011/12) will be in action in the Mounthawk Gym at 12.00. Among our very experienced coaching team will be Wayne Quillinan, Michael Lynch, Micko Horan, Colm Mangan, Keith McKensie, Mick O’Brien and Noel Healy.

FAOI 10: Our UNDER 10 boys will play on The Green CBS Astroturf pitch at 11am with Pa Laide, John Canty, Laurence Cotter and Mike McCannon.

ATHCHÚRSÁIL ÉADAÍ: The club fundraising clothes’ recycling collection day/date is Saturday February 9th. We’d be grateful for all clothes’ donations. If you wish to leave bags of clothes at the clubhouse before the 9th, please ring 085 2235857. Bígí ag bailiú libh, le bhur dtoil! Beimid buíoch i gcónaí as ucht bhur gcuid tacaíochta.

FAOI 12: Training continues on Sunday next in Connolly Park as the U12 group continues its preparations for the season ahead. ‘Plenty of fun and competition as well as several away trips’ are the core aims of the group.

If you haven’t been in action for a while, please contact Liam on 0876189655 for full details of planned activities. Everybody welcome – fáilte roimh chách – new as well as established players – just turn up on Sunday. Among this year’s mentors are Ger Power, Liam Lynch, Morgan O’Connell, Mike Casey, Shane Lynch, Dex Carmody, Ciarán Murphy, Batty Bastible, Richie Conway agus Theo Ó Duigín.

SCÓR na nÓG: ‘Hard luck’ to our lads in the Kerry round of the Scór na Óg quiz. They gave of their best at short notice. Let’s hope that these boys will start their preparations for next year’s quiz right now!

Ár mbuachaillí quiz: Gavin Ó Dufaigh, Maitiú de Brún, Cian Puirséil, Dáithí Ó Loingsigh. ‘Well done’ to the Ballymac quiz lads who were unlucky in the quiz ‘play-off’ v Na Crócaigh. Four Kerry clubs have qualified for the All-Ireland: (i) Na Crócaigh (quiz), (ii) Sneem (solo singing – M.Larkin just pipped our Ella Nic Gabhann into a very close 2nd in the Kerry final), (iii) Spá (set dance) and (iv) Na Gaeil (léiriú/sketch). Go n-éirí leosan sna craobh-bhabhtaí de Scór.

FAOI 14: Buachaillí Faoi 14, bígí ag súil le téacs maidir le preparations for the annual Nemo Rangers Tournament in Cork. Planning for the year ahead are William Kirby, Wayne Guthrie, Ritchie Conway, Dale Counihan, Éamonn Heaslip, Dave Scanlon and Ronan Kavanagh.

FAOI 16: We had a good team meeting in the club last Saturday and all concerned are looking forward to the new season. Training will commence next Sunday morning at 10.30am. Everybody welcome – fáilte roimh chách – new as well as all established players. Depending on availability of cars and on tide times, we may head for Banna Beach to do some beach running. So, a leaideanna, please bring runners as well as football boots. Expect text/WhatsApp re details. Táimid ar an mbóthar arís! Our management team will include Edward O’Connor, Denis Sayers, Pat Slattery, Armin Heinrich, Frankie Murphy, TJ Sheehan.

SCÓR NA SINSEAR ‘19: The Tralee final of Senior Scór (17 years old or over on 1-1-’19) will be held in Na Gaeil clubhouse on Thursday 31st January at 8.30pm. It’s still not too late to enter – just phone 0861053300! Scór disciplines required: solo singing, recitation, figure/set dance, quiz, ballad group, music group, sketch. It wouls be a pity if The Rock hadn’t reps in some event!
