CLUBHOUSE: Our Bar and Clubhouse continue to remain closed until further notice.

CONGRATULATIONS: to Eoin and Noelle Colgan on the recent birth of daughter Poppie, a sister for Grace, and now two future Club Footballers.

LOTTO: After an absence of 10 weeks (from 23rd March to 25th May incl.) our Lotto returned this week. This Monday Night’s (1st June) Jackpot, worth €13,400, was not won. The numbers drawn were 8, 17, 28, 29.
The €20 winners were – Ger Power, Finbarr Canty and Kieran O’Callaghan, all c/o The Club; and Clare Needham and Mary McQuinn, both c/o Brendan O’Regan.
For the time being the Jackpot will be capped at €13,400 and of course if it’s won it will then restart at €2,000.
We would be delighted to hear from any other businesses who wish to sell lotto tickets for Austin Stacks GAA Club. SYMPATHY:  Sincere sympathy is also offered to the families of the following who died recently – John McCarthy, St. Brendan’s Park (John, together with his wife, Mary and daughter, Renee, were part of our Scór team for many years); Liam Dennehy, Boherbee and formerly Strand Street; Chrissie Collins (nee Quirke), Woodlee and formerly Fenit; Mary (Sis) Greaney (nee McCarthy), Birmingham and formerly Day Place; Chris O’Shea (nee Jeffers), Doon North and formerly North Commons, Ardfert; and Fred Lynch, St. Brendan’s Park and formerly Boherbee (one of the outstanding Mitchel’s footballers of their five-in-a-row (1959-1963) era) .
