CLUB AGM: Last Sunday’s AGM elected Shane Lynch as Club Chairman for the coming season. Shane takes over from Billy Ryle who held the position for the past two seasons.

Mairead Fernane held the position during 2019 and before that it was Shane’s brother, Liam, who held the position for the three seasons 2016-2018.

And the Lynch connection goes away back to the 1980s when Shane’s late father, John, was Vice-Chairman of the Club for six successive seasons (1984-1989).

In a very comprehensive address Shane thanked everyone in the Club for such a successful season in 2021 and outlined in general terms his priorities for the coming season.
