PEIL FAOI 12: (i) We had a busy start to the season with the Timberlands Kitchen and Floors Town League. Our A team had a match against the John Mitchel Club and the B team had games against Strand Road A and Ardfert A.

All our players had excellent performances. We’ve top class players! The Black’n’Amber won v Na Mistéalaigh and Ardfert and, despite a slow start, exhibited great skill against the O’Rahilly Club lads. The hallmark of this group is their undoubted dedication and their great desire to improve; that they are doing ‘in spades’.

All players are getting plenty game time and numbers at training are excellent; thanks to all parents. The season is in its infancy but the sense of fun is to the fore and all coaches are delighted with progress to date. Maith sibh, a bhuachaillí! PEIL FAOI 14: (i) Suits Select Town League (Division 1): (a) AdeS A v Ballymac on Sunday last. That was our first Town League of 2019 and it was played in Connolly Park in terrible weather conditions. At the end of a fast flowing first half, we were well ahead. B/mac had a good start to the second half and had scored 2-1 before we took control again. We had a good margin at the final whistle. Well done, boys! An fhoireann bhuacach: Michael Tansley; Seán Heaslip, Luke Casey, Mark Carmody; Pádraig O’Halloran, Colm Browne, Thomas Deregee; Togor Siloem, Aron Nolan; Jamie O’Shea (captaen), Noah Townsend, Paddy Lane; Mark Lynch, Luke Fitzgerald, Daniel Kirby; fir ionaid: Roan Grattan (M.Carmody…15 min); Ronan Mulrooney (J.O’Shea…18 min), Seán Moynihan (N.Townsend…25 min). (ii) Suits Select Town League (Division 2): our B boys’ game v K-O’R was postponed because of an unplayable pitch.

PEIL FAOI 16: Due to all the games last Sunday we had to switch our training to Saturday morning and it was great to see such a large turnout considering the somewhat monsoon conditions. Good progress is being made by all and….keep up the good work, lads. A trip to Banna is still on the cards and, so, keep an eye out for Text or WhatsApp. An Charraig Abú!

CIARRAÍ: ‘Well done’ to the Kerry footballers and hurlers on two fine victories! Mo cheol sibh!
