PEIL FAOI 12: On Thursday night last Laune Rangers visited Connolly Park for the final round of the 2019 County Leagues. Three great games, played in glorious sunshine, provided top class entertainment for the large crowd present; and the ice cream and coke given to everyone afterwards was gratefully appreciated – great to see so many smiles as people headed out the gates after great evening! On the A team front, our Rockie Warriors knew that victory would see them top the table…Ballymacelligott had equal points…and would add Phase 2 honours to their Phase 1 success. Despite missing a good few regulars, our boys gave a superb performance of heart and commitment that had them out ahead at séideadh deireanach fheadóg an réiteora…4-14 to 3-7. How satisfying it was to witness the excellent performances of the lads who had recently come to the group from the Division 1B team….great signs for the future! Missing some of our regulars put our B team at a big disadvantage against a strong Killorglin outfit but despite being behind in the scoreboard our boys never said die and gave of their best right to the long whistle! Well done, lads! The final game saw many of our U10s make their debut in the Division 9 clash with the Launesiders….an encounter in which they came out well ahead. The experience was certainly of huge benefit to our lads, as was sharing the dressing room with their older club mates for the first time! The Rockie future is bright! Wayne, take note!

PEIL FAOI 14: (i) Our Under 14 stalwarts gained great experience at Féile Peile na nÓg (Football Festival of Youth). They worked hard, the gave of their best and attained a semi-final spot in Division 1. A wonderful achievement! However, they were unlucky v South London (1-2 to 0-2). Taithí (experience) iontach ab ea é dár bpeileadóirí óga agus beidh cuimhní iontacha acu go deo ar Fhéile JOHN WEST in Iarthar Éireann! (ii) Our lads faced St. Pats on Monday last in the Central League Division 4 in Blennerville.

PEIL FAOI 16: (i) U16 training will continue every Monday and Friday evenings. (ii) County League fixtures for the A team (Roinn 1): (a) AdeS A v Crócaigh….postponed…to be refixed; (b) AdeS A v Gleann Fleisce; (c) Laune Rangers v AdeS A; (d) Firies v AdeS A; (e) semi-finals [1st v 4th; 2nd v 3rd]; (f) final. Gach cluiche ag 7pm. (iii) County League fixtures for our 13-a-side B team (Roinn 7) games: (a) Naomh Mícheál/Faill Mhór v AdeS B; (b) Béal v AdeS B; (c) Teampall Nua/Snaidhm/Doire Fhíonáin v AdeS B; (d) AdeS B v An Ráth Mhór; (e) AdeS B v Laune Rangers; (f) semi-finals [1st v 4th; 2nd v 3rd]; (g) final. Gach cluiche ag 7pm.

CIARRAÍ FAOI 16: A big weekend is ahead for the Kerry U16 development squad. They’ll travel to their tournament in Cork. The Rock has six members on the panel, namely, Ben Quilter, Ruairí O’Connell, Joey Nagle, Armin Heinrich, Dean Rusk, Shane Bastible and Jordan Kissane. Guímid gach rath orthu agus iad ag imirt ar son na Ríochta agus ar son na Carraige.
