PEIL FAOI  7 (born 2015/16/17): Next Sunday’s Under 7 football session will take place at 11am in Connolly Park. We will continue on Sundays and we’ll be starting Thursday night football on May 5th. New boys always welcome.

PEIL FAOI 9 (born 2013/14): Next Sunday’s Under 9 football session will take place at 11am in Connolly Park. Expected upcoming challenges: v Legion (April 26th), v Laune Rangers (May 10th), v Kilcummin (May 24th) and v Firies (June 7th). Thursday night football will commence on May 5th.

PEIL FAOI 11 (born 2011/12): (i) County League (sponsored by Lee Strand) – A and B teams: Round 1 was scheduled for HOLY THURSDAY….v Laune Rangers. Well done, boys. (ii) Upcoming fixtures: Thursday 21st April… at home v Crócaigh Chill Airne; Thursday 28th April… away v Milltown/Castlemaine; Thursday 5th May… away v Na Mistéalaigh; Thursday 12thMay… at home v B/mac.

SAOIRE DHEAS SA GHAELTACHT? The GAA Gaeltacht scholarship scheme is available once again to help pay a little of the cost of sending a club member to a Corca Dhuibhne summer course.

The scholarship of circa €170 will be provided by Tralee District Board, Kerry County Board and the Munster Council. If interested, please contact a club officer or ring 0876606693 immediately. PEIL FAOI 13: (i) Round 4 of the County League DIVISION 2 will be played at 7pm on Sunday next, 24th April. Our Black Team will travel to the sunny south side of Sliabh Mis to challenge Baile an Mhuilinn/Caisleán na Mainge.

An exciting game is expected. Go n-éirí go geal libh, a bhuachaillí! (ii) Round 4 of the County League DIVISION 10 will take place at 5.30pm on the 24th April, an Domhnach seo chugainn, when our Team Amber lads will travel to play Milltown/Castlemaine. Good luck, boys! (iii) Traenáil/cluichí: Training will be held in Connolly Park on Tuesday evenings from 5pm to 6.30pm and on Thursday evenings from 6.30pm to 7.45pm; our home games will (generally) be played on Sundays. (iv) Phase 2 of the County League will commence on 22nd May. PEIL FAOI 15: (i) Our U15s continued their County League Division 1 League campaign with a convincing away victory over Keel/Listry in Keel on Wednesday evening last. This was a game in which we started well and led comfortably at half-time. Our boys continued their good form into the second half, played brilliantly and ran out very very convincing winners. Bhí an-bhua ag Na Stacaigh!

(ii) On Thursday evening our Division 9B boys continued their league campaign with a closely fought three-point win over Keel/Listry in Listry.

We began strongly in the first half and led, 1-4 to 1-2, at half-time. Our opponents made a comeback bid in the second half but our stalwart defence kept us in the game, repelling many dangerous attacks.

Our forwards managed five vital scores, four from play, in the second half to give us a lead that we never relinquished. Keel/Listry attacked repeatedly for a goal but could not get past our stonewall defence.

We were victorious after a mighty battle. Final score…AdeS: 1-9; Keel/Listry: 1-6. (iii) Our next games: (a) on Wednesday evening we travel to the John Mitchel Club for our Division 1 fixture which will commence at 7pm; (b) on Thursday evening our Division 9A team play at home v Kilcummin and throw-in time is 8pm.

SCÓR ’22: The Scór na bPáistí series of competitions (for primary school students) will be held during month of June and the finals will take place on Saturday 2nd July. It’s time to be working on Scór items….a solo singer, a storyteller or reciter, a group of singers (cúigear), a group of musicians (cúigear), a figure dance group (ceathrar, seisear nó ochtar), a set (ochtar), a four-person quiz team….buachaillí agus/nó cailíní.
