GME: Sadly, very little nuacht iománaíochta nó caide came from the Gaelcholáiste this week (25th-29th April)! Rockie warriors are still preparing to test their mettle, however, in the long-anticipated Lá Spóirt na Scoile. The Sports Day has always been a highlight of the school events calendar, keeping athletic students of all ages on their toes with a wide range of sporting challenges. This author hopes to be particularly iomaíoch in the egg-and-spoon race which in previous Laethanta Spóirt proved to be his downfall! An rannóg CLG will also be well represented with the highly-contested Poc agus Cic Fada competitions! We wish all Rock iomaitheoirí the best of luck in advance of next Friday, which will no doubt be an energetic celebration of school spirit!! (D.Ó Loinsigh)
