FAOI 6/8/10: Our end-of-year Award Presentation and Club Calendar ’17 Launch will take place at 11am on Sunday 11th December in the Clubhouse! Fáilte roimh chách…players, families and friends. Between now and then, every Rock player is encouraged to practise on his football skills at home…solo with weaker foot, handpass with weaker hand agus scileanna peile eile!

AN CHISPHEIL FAOI 11/12: Our very successful and enjoyable BASKETBALL workouts will continue at 6pm on Thursdays in the Moyderwell School Gym, An Bóthar Buí. Bígí linn!

TRALEE CBS v COLÁISTE BHRÉANAINN: The Tralee CBS (The Green) footballers were defeated by Coláiste Bhréanainn in the Under 15 Munster Schools A Final on Friday last i Staid a’ Ghearaltaigh, Cill Airne. Scór: 4-12 to 2-9. The men of The Rock on The Green panel: Owen Healy, Greg Scanlon, Conor Horan, Jordan Kissane, Ben Quilter (cúl báire), Cian Purcell (ag uimhir a 13), Luke Chester (lánchúlaí), Niall Fitzmaurice (uimhir a 10), Armin Heinrich (leathchúlaí láir). The cup that was presented to the Sem boys is now called Corn An Bhráthair Choilm Taft (Coláiste Chríost Rí). The name of An Br. Ó Móráin (CBS) from Dingle seems to have been ‘removed’ from the trophy! Why? Cá bhfios?

CORN UÍ MHUIRÍ (Under 18½ A Football): Results of Corn Uí Mhuirí Competition games that were played on Wednesday 23rd: (i) Tralee CBS: 1-16; St. Francis College, Rochestown: 3-10. Rockmen involved: Joseph O’Connor, David Fitzmaurice, Shane Kelliher, Gearóid Mac Gearailt. (ii) Coláiste Chríost Rí: 3-12; Mercy Mounthawk: 0-10.Imreoirí Chnoc an tSeabhaic:-Donagh McMahon, Michael Linnane, Ciarán O’Reilly.

SCÓR na nÓG: Best wishes to all the Kerry youngsters who will perform in the Munster semi-final of Scór na nÓg in Cashel, Co Tipperary on Sunday next (11th).
