PEIL FAOI 12: Week 4 of our 6-week stint at the fabulous Kerry Sports Academy saw another big turnout for Saturday’s training session. With our first outing of the year now only 3 weeks away, there was an added pep in the step of players and mentors alike with great skill, pace and determination on show for the hour. Our session-finale blitz reached new heights of excitement with very little between the four outstanding teams. Our ‘A’ final was a thriller idir Foireann Oráiste agus Foireann Dhearg….they drew in their round robin game and couldn’t be separated either in the decider!

D’imir said peil den scoth! An Fhoireann Oráiste: Rian Walsh, Eoin Mangan, Rory Lynch, Tadhg Falvey, Fionn Cotter, Alex Dafoor, David Hobbert, Kyle Yoxhall. An Fhoireann Dhearg: Alex Tuohy, Alex Relehan, Eoghan Murphy, Haulie Cotter, Jayden Moriarty, Darragh Lyons, Jack Diggin, Matthew Guerin, Darragh Greyson. All mighty men! Our first challenge and away trip of the year will be on Saturday 29th February (leap year!) when we’ll be crossing the county bounds to take on the Cork underage kingpins, Douglas, on the splendid 4G pitch at Páirc Uí Chaoimh! Onóir mhór agus dúshlán mór do bhuachaillí na Carraige! Parents – if you haven’t done so before now, please ensure that your son is registered for 2020 as soon as possible.
