SCÓR NA bPÁISTÍ:
(i) Scór na bPáistí for the Greater Tralee Area will be held at 7pm on Friday next (11th) in the ITT (North Campus). Best wishes to our singer, Ella Nic Gabhann, and to our eight figure dancers and their teacher, Mícheal Ó Murchú. (ii) We expect to have a quiz team in the county final on 17th April.
PEIL FAOI 12:
Under 12 boys will train on Sunday next from 1.30pm to 2.45pm i bPáirc na mBan Rialta (Nuns’ Field), Connolly Park. Táimid ag tnúth le séasúr nua peile!
PEIL FAOI 14:
(i) The Under 14s will have training in The Rock Gym in Connolly Park on Wednesdays from 5.15pm to 6.15pm. (ii) We travelled to the Mick O’Brien Tournament (Nemo Rangers Club, Cork) last weekend. Bhí an-lá againn! Though we didn’t have many victories, our players played very well and enjoyed a well-run tournament.
Boys were tried out in various positions and a lot was learned by team and mentors. The trip to Cork, our first outing of the ’16 season, was of great benefit! The cobwebs have now been dusted off and we look forward to the County League at the end of the month.
FAOI 16:
(i) Under 16 training will be held on Sundays and on Fridays. Good well-attended training sessions are important as the Central League will begin on 21 st March.
