PEIL FAOI 10: (i) Our Under 10s played a challenge match against Ballymac on Sunday last. A very enjoyable outing was had by all…thanks to our welcoming hosts. (ii) Na Gaeil will host the Go-Games this Thursday. Go n-éirí linn ar an gCillín! (iii) The Under 10s will take a trip (through the Jack Lynch Tunnel) to Glanmire, Cork, on Saturday next to play against the locals and against Newport from Tipperary. Expect details of trip per text. Lá dár saol a bheidh ann! Busy times for Rock heroes!!
PEIL FAOI 12: (i) Our Under 12 boys will train on Tuesday and on Thursday from 5.30pm to 6.45pm i bPáirc na mBan Rialta nó i bPáirc an Easpaig, Connolly Park. And isn’t it well the new pitches look! (ii) Our U12 boys (Divisions 2A and 2B) will be at home to Milltown/Castlemaine at 6pm on Sunday next (12th June) in the County League. (ii) The other U12 boys (Division 5) will play (away) v Na Gaeil at 6pm next Sunday (12th). Good luck, boys!
PEIL FAOI 13: The Naomh Mearnóg club in Dublin has invited our Under 13 footballers to take part in their football tournament on Saturday (June 11th). The Portmarnock club has decided that all visiting teams will sleep overnight in the club grounds. Very exciting! If you’ve a tent to lend, please contact Tim on 0831190323.
PEIL FAOI 14: (i) We’ll train in Connolly Park on Wednesday from 5.15pm to 6.45pm and on Sunday from 4pm to 5.30pm. (ii) Kelliher’s Toyota Central Region U14 teams: (a) Division 1 teams~ Gaeltacht, AdeS, Ballymac, Laune Rangers, Castlegregory, Na Gaeil, Glenbeigh/Glencar/Cromane. We’ll challenge Ballymac in Ballymac at 7pm on Monday next (13th). (b) Division 3 teams~ Milltown/Castlemaine, K-O’R Club, Na Mistéalaigh, Club Naomh Pádraig (Blennerville), AdeS B, Ballymac B, Laune Rangers B. We’ll play (away) v Na Mistéalaigh at 7pm on Monday 13th June. (iii) The countdown to Féile is on. It will start on June 24th. Bímis ullamh chuige!!
PEIL FAOI 16: (i) Our U16 team will play in Division 1 of the County League, the first round of which has been scheduled for Wednesday 13th July. We’ll meet the following clubs: Laune Rangers, Cordal/Scairt, Crócaigh Chill Airne, Lios Tuathail, An Léigiún. (ii) We had a great turnout in Banna last Sunday morning for training ar an trá. We hope that none of our players will defect to American Football as a result of their Banna experience! Agus bhí snámh san Atlantach ag na Stacaigh chróga chrua thufála mhisniúla!! (iv) Best wishes to all our boys doing Junior Cert.
